About the Role

You will act as an architect for growth, bringing IDnow's solutions to leading companies that serve millions of customers daily. You will combine technology, business value and industry expertise into compelling stories that convince decision makers, and turn complex processes into clear, scalable deals. You will independently develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new business fields and target industries, build trusted relationships with decision makers up to C-level, and own the entire sales cycle from lead generation through negotiation, contract closing and handover to implementation and onboarding. You will also monitor the market and competition, deriving opportunities and bringing fresh impulses to business development, while collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product management, customer success and legal.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly in new customer acquisition and account expansion, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment
  • Extensive experience with complex sales cycles as well as enterprise deals and contract negotiations
  • Well versed in sales methodologies such as MEDDPIC
  • Understanding of the identity verification market or similar compliance/trust topics; industry knowledge (e.g. FinTech, Telecom, E-Commerce) is a plus
  • Independent, structured and results-oriented way of working; experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Fluent in German and English; additional European languages are welcome
  • Strong communication skills, especially presentations and negotiations at decision-maker level
  • Customer-oriented, reliable, analytical, and enjoys working with stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new business fields and target industries
  • Build and maintain a high-quality sales funnel from lead qualification to deal closing
  • Exceed revenue and growth targets
  • Identify cross- and upselling potential with existing customers and develop it systematically
  • Build trusted relationships with decision makers, including at C-level, positioning IDnow as a trusted advisor
  • Own the complete sales cycle including lead generation, negotiation, contract closing and handover to implementation/onboarding
  • Monitor market and competition and derive opportunities for business development
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product management, customer success and legal
