About the Role

You will sell 401(k) and retirement plans to small and mid-sized businesses through inbound opportunities and targeted outbound outreach. You will conduct consultative conversations, educate customers, manage plan migrations, maintain Salesforce pipelines, coordinate handoffs, capture market insight, own quota, and improve sales execution.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of quota-carrying sales experience
  • Account Executive or Account Manager experience
  • Outbound prospecting
  • SaaS, benefits, fintech, or financial services experience preferred
  • 401(k), retirement, or benefits sales exposure is a plus
  • Salesforce CRM

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound retirement opportunities
  • Conduct targeted outbound outreach
  • Own SMB retirement sales cycles from discovery through close
  • Guide plan adoption and authorization
  • Use AI tools to prioritize opportunities and personalize follow-ups
  • Conduct consultative retirement conversations
  • Educate customers on 401(k) plans and benefits
  • Lead plan migration discovery
  • Review plan documentation and agreements
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Retirement Operations
  • Guide customers through plan switching
  • Maintain the Salesforce sales pipeline
  • Update pipeline stages and close dates
  • Coordinate deal handoffs and onboarding
  • Capture customer objections and competitive insights
  • Own and work toward monthly ARR quota
  • Participate in team meetings and coaching
  • Share sales learnings and wins
