About the Role
You will manage and develop Account Executives through coaching, mentoring, hiring, training, performance management, pipeline strategy, forecasting, process optimization, playbook creation, and cross-functional representation of the sales team.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of quota-carrying sales experience as an individual contributor
- Minimum 2 years of experience building and leading successful sales teams
- Success in fast-paced, results-oriented go-to-market environments
- History of consistently performing above quota in outbound sales
- Experience hiring and developing sales teams
- Experience building top-of-funnel activities and pipeline
- Strong collaboration, influencing, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Looker, Excel, and email and call automation platforms
- Ability to use data to drive decisions and improve processes
Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, and coach Account Executives
- Create career development and leadership plans
- Manage daily activities and quota performance
- Hire and train new Account Executives
- Develop pipeline and prospecting strategies with Sales and Marketing
- Build performance dashboards and report forecasts to senior leadership
- Optimize systems and processes to improve team output
- Build and execute pipeline with new clients and partners
- Create sales playbook resources
- Partner with Operations on performance metrics
- Represent the Account Executive team cross-functionally
