VP, Enterprise Sales, Payments

About the Role

You will lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing enterprise sales team to acquire and retain large-scale payments clients. You will develop and execute sales strategy, drive complex sales cycles from prospecting to close, and negotiate enterprise-level contracts. You will build and maintain deep client relationships, use data and analytics to track KPIs and optimize performance, and collaborate with product, marketing, and operations to ensure solutions meet client needs. You will mentor the sales team and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise sales
  • 5+ years in payments or fintech
  • Proven track record of closing large deals and leading sales teams
  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring sales teams to exceed targets
  • In-depth knowledge of the payments ecosystem including payment processing, merchant services, and card networks
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills for complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Data-driven approach to sales management and analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Previous fintech or startup experience (preferred)

  • Mentor and train sales team members
