About the Role

You will manage quarterly and annual maintenance, subscription, and SaaS renewal portfolios for an assigned territory. You will prepare quotes and proposals, negotiate renewal contracts, record customer activity in Salesforce, forecast the renewal pipeline, mitigate cancellations, and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities. You will work with customers, partners, sales, and operational functions while mentoring junior colleagues when needed.

Requirements

  • 4 years of renewals sales experience with a software company
  • Time management skills in a dynamic sales environment
  • Written and verbal communication with C-level customer contacts
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a cross-functional team
  • Business degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage quarterly and annual renewal portfolios for an assigned territory
  • Maximize renewal value, ensure timely renewals, and mitigate cancellations
  • Build and send complex quotes and proposals at least 90 days in advance
  • Track quotes, calls, and emails accurately in Salesforce
  • Handle customer objections and negotiate renewal contracts
  • Collaborate with order management, finance, legal, and accounts receivable
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly renewal-pipeline forecasts
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities using value-based selling
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners
  • Contribute to special projects and promotions
  • Mentor new hires and junior renewals account managers when needed
