About the Role
You will lead and develop a team of Account Managers serving Mid-Market customers. You will manage quota and pipeline performance, engage key customer relationships, forecast results, hire and coach representatives, improve processes and tooling, and partner cross-functionally to remove blockers and drive retention and expansion.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of quota-carrying sales or account management experience as an individual contributor with a record of exceeding goals.
- New-business or cross-sell/upsell experience.
- At least 3 years building and leading account management or sales teams with a record of exceeding goals.
- Experience in fast-paced, results-oriented GTM environments, ideally at SaaS or AI companies.
- Ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value to customers and executive leaders.
- Experience negotiating, structuring, and executing complex agreements.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Looker, Excel, and data analytics.
- Collaboration, influencing, communication, and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5-8 Account Managers.
- Engage directly with key customers and top accounts.
- Manage quota performance and pipeline generation to achieve activation, retention, and expansion goals.
- Forecast and report team performance to senior leadership.
- Hire, train, and develop Account Managers.
- Coach representatives through 1:1s, call feedback, enablement sessions, and career paths.
- Refine team processes and tooling to improve efficiency.
- Partner with Sales, CX, CSM, Risk, and Product to remove blockers.
