About the Role
You will manage and grow merchant accounts, acquire strategic merchants, negotiate commercial terms, and lead business reviews. You will coordinate onboarding and campaigns, organize regional activations, monitor portfolio performance, and deliver market insights that inform payment and fintech growth strategies.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of business development and account management experience
- Experience generating leads and supporting client acquisition
- Knowledge of fiat payment networks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to coordinate with international partners and stakeholders
- Track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
- Mandarin Chinese is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key merchant accounts
- Identify, approach, and onboard strategic merchants
- Build relationships with executives and decision-makers
- Negotiate merchant discount rates, commercial terms, and partnership agreements
- Lead regular business reviews
- Plan and lead partner conventions, financial-literacy sessions, and trade activations
- Coordinate onboarding, integration, and campaign execution with internal teams
- Execute marketing and partnership initiatives
- Monitor account performance, transaction trends, and portfolio growth
- Deliver market insights and performance reports
- Track competitor activity and customer needs
