About the Role
You will act as a player-coach, designing data-driven sales strategy while directly selling Japanese real estate to investors across Asia. You will manage client proposals, negotiations, closings, and transaction processes; turn customer insights into product and marketing input; establish scalable sales practices; and lead, coach, and evaluate three sales team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of practical experience selling, negotiating, and closing real estate transactions with corporate or individual customers
- Native-level Chinese proficiency for Taiwan and Traditional Chinese, and business-level Japanese proficiency
- Experience managing a sales team, including goal setting, progress management, accompanying sales meetings, development, and evaluation
- Experience identifying issues from sales data and translating findings into sales initiatives
- Ability to accommodate frequent international travel, primarily to Taiwan, multiple times per month
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies using transaction, prospect, and product data
- Set sales targets and implement measures to achieve them
- Propose Japanese real estate to Asian clients, conduct negotiations and presentations, and close transactions
- Develop new customers and maintain relationships with existing owners to drive additional purchases
- Prepare and explain property details, financial simulations, and financing terms
- Manage important matter explanations, sale contracts, and settlement processes with relevant Japanese parties and judicial scriveners
- Share customer interests, concerns, and decision criteria with real estate strategy and marketing functions
- Manage, coach, evaluate, and monitor progress for three team members
- Accompany team members on sales meetings and provide feedback
- Document successful sales practices as reusable team knowledge
- Design lead-to-meeting pathways with marketing and build post-purchase follow-up with asset management
- Travel internationally, primarily to Taiwan, multiple times per month
