LATAM Sales Lead

About the Role

You will build and execute the full LATAM sales strategy: define ICP, map territory, generate pipeline, and close complex multi-stakeholder deals. You will source and qualify opportunities across exchanges, protocols, DeFi apps, TradFi, and payments; develop relationships with exchanges, VCs, accelerators, and partners; represent the organization at major LATAM crypto and fintech events; collaborate with global GTM on messaging and playbooks; partner with Solution Engineering and Customer Success for smooth post-sale handoffs; provide regional market intelligence to Product and leadership; and define the hiring plan and recruit and onboard the first regional AEs and BDRs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B sales or business development experience
  • At least 3 years in a leadership or senior individual contributor role
  • Proven track record of closing complex multi-stakeholder deals
  • Deep knowledge of LATAM crypto, Web3, or fintech ecosystem
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese and strong English communication skills
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and build processes from scratch
  • Experience with ICP selection, outbound sequencing, pipeline management, and CRM rigor
  • Experience selling to exchanges, L1/L2 protocols, DeFi apps, TradFi institutions, or compliance teams

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the LATAM sales strategy
  • Source, qualify, and close deals with exchanges, protocols, DeFi apps, TradFi institutions, payment companies, compliance teams, and analytics firms
  • Develop and deepen relationships with exchanges, VCs, accelerators, protocol foundations, and strategic partners
  • Represent the organization at major LATAM crypto and fintech events
  • Collaborate with global GTM on messaging, positioning, and go-to-market playbooks
  • Partner with Solution Engineering and Customer Success to ensure seamless post-sale handoffs
  • Provide market intelligence to Product and leadership
  • Define the hiring plan and recruit and onboard AEs and BDRs
