About the Role
Own the pipeline and sales function for Cycles Prime, an institutional clearing solution. Bring an existing network of buyers at institutional trading firms, work outbound, take meetings, negotiate terms, land new clients, build the BD team, and progress toward running Cycles Prime as General Manager with full P&L ownership.
Requirements
- Five to ten years selling into institutional markets.
- Business development or sales experience at a crypto trading firm or TradFi institution.
- Track record of closing enterprise deals and carrying revenue against a quota or pipeline target.
- Existing network of buyers at institutional trading firms.
- Understanding of crypto market structure across centralized venues, OTC, and on-chain settlement.
- Based in New York and able to be in the city most weeks.
Responsibilities
- Own the pipeline by selecting targets, securing introductions, running meetings, negotiating terms, and landing new clients.
- Own the P&L, including pricing, fee structure, partnership terms, and revenue forecasting.
- Build the BD function and create a playbook for future hires.
- Hire and lead the BD team as the company scales, then take over as General Manager with full P&L.
- Work with internal stakeholders and institutional trading-firm clients.
