About the Role
You will define and execute the global technology partnership strategy, build alliances with cloud providers and software vendors, embed partners into go-to-market activities, lead negotiations, drive joint solutions, own partner revenue metrics, advocate for partners internally, and lead a global partnerships team.
Requirements
- 15+ years of business development or technology partnerships experience
- 3–5 years in a high-level leadership role
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, IAM, or SaaS
- Experience building or transforming a global partner ecosystem
- Expertise in revenue-sharing, co-selling, and licensing agreements
- Ability to influence C-suite stakeholders
- Experience managing complex organizational structures
- Data-driven partnership investment experience
- Understanding of cloud architectures, API economies, and software integration patterns
- Experience recruiting, retaining, and developing global teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, global system integrators, PRM tools, or Salesforce partner ecosystems
Responsibilities
- Define and refine the global technology partnership roadmap
- Identify and prioritize alliances with cloud providers, GSIs, and ISVs
- Embed partners into go-to-market activities
- Lead complex multi-year partnership negotiations
- Drive joint solution development
- Own partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue metrics
- Establish partnership KPIs and health metrics
- Represent Ping Identity at industry events
- Advocate for partner needs internally
- Lead and mentor a global partnerships team
