About the Role

The Sales Director will own the Middle East sales territory, lead and develop a high-performing sales team, build enterprise customer and partner relationships, and drive business results through strategic planning, SaaS solution selling, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading sales teams focused on the Middle East territory.
  • Expertise in enterprise software, SaaS, managed services, and strategic account management.
  • Multiple years of meeting or exceeding sales quota.
  • Flexibility to travel to the Middle East region.
  • Experience transitioning a team from on-premises to SaaS solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing global organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for alignment and positive collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, measure, and review strategic or operational plans aligned with company strategy.
  • Use territory planning, account plans, opportunity inspection, pipeline management, account reviews, and forecast calls.
  • Coach the sales team on positioning and articulating Ping Identity's value proposition to enterprise customers.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business activities.
  • Leverage GSIs and other partners to source, develop, and progress business.
  • Plan and control expenses associated with the area of responsibility.
  • Establish relationships with external parties that support business goals.
  • Ensure effective use of standard business practices and Salesforce.com.
  • Communicate company vision and align team and personal goals.
  • Provide direction, mentoring, and development to the field team.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.
  • Recruit, build, and develop the sales team.
  • Recommend and approve people-related decisions.
  • Drive performance review and development planning processes.
  • Maintain C-level contacts at large enterprise customers.
  • Build and maintain partner and systems integrator networks.
  • Build customer relationships and provide escalation management.
  • Drive initiatives that improve customer satisfaction.
