About the Role
You will lead the full business-development lifecycle for collaborative combat aircraft initiatives across Northeast Asia. You will develop strategic opportunities, engage defense stakeholders, shape requirements and operating concepts, lead demonstrations, coordinate delivery needs, and provide market intelligence that informs product direction.
Requirements
- 15+ years in a relevant air force occupation
- 3–5+ years of experience in defense acquisition, business development, sales, or strategy
- 5+ years of regional operational or defense-business experience
- Track record of capturing and closing defense programs or technology insertions
- Understanding of collaborative combat aircraft, manned-unmanned teaming, and AI-enabled operating concepts
- Ability to represent technically complex products to strategic and operational audiences
- Familiarity with regional acquisition pathways
- Willingness to live in Northeast Asia and travel 30–50%
Responsibilities
- Identify, shape, and capture next-generation airpower opportunities
- Lead customer engagement, proposals, negotiation, and contract awards
- Build relationships with Ministries of Defence, defense primes, integrators, and NATO-related bodies
- Influence customer requirements and collaborative combat aircraft operating concepts
- Lead positioning for flight demonstrations, technical trials, and program pilots
- Coordinate technical solutions and delivery requirements with engineering, product, legal, and program functions
- Provide field intelligence for feature development, integration strategy, and roadmap priorities
- Travel extensively across Northeast Asia
