About the Role
Hut 8 is seeking an experienced Director of Commercial Development to lead data center initiatives, develop commercial strategy, pursue high-potential AI-sector clients, build key relationships, drive revenue, and position the company as a leader in the data center industry.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial roles within data center or related technology sectors.
- Proven success securing significant commercial agreements and driving revenue growth.
- Established relationships with hyperscale and enterprise technology players.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead successful teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy for data center services.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with high-potential clients in the AI sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets through sales strategies and negotiations.
- Assemble and lead a high-performing commercial team.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.
