About the Role

You will act as an initial contact for prospective mid-market and enterprise corporate clients. You will develop new business, build and convert a sales pipeline, analyse markets and competitors, execute customer acquisition and retention initiatives, and manage budgets, forecasts, financial models, and performance reporting.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of progressive business development experience in remittance or financial services
  • Knowledge of remittance market dynamics, regulatory compliance, and industry trends
  • Experience building a pipeline and converting connections into new business
  • Negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Market analysis and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Experience in fintech, startup, payments, remittance, business development, or sales
  • Ability to generate new business opportunities and revenue growth
  • Right to work in the applicable work jurisdiction

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a new-business development plan
  • Identify market opportunities and emerging remittance-industry trends
  • Conduct market, competitor, and customer-feedback analysis
  • Translate market insights into business-growth strategies and tactics
  • Oversee customer-acquisition and retention initiatives
  • Ensure customer service supports satisfaction and recurring business
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models for business development
  • Monitor financial performance and provide reports to senior management
  • Source, qualify, and engage high-value corporate opportunities
  • Build a pipeline that supports long-term client relationships
