About the Role
You will be on the front lines of growing Alpaca's market share by managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through solutioning, proposal, negotiation, and close. You will focus on growing revenue, transaction volume, and assets under management under Alpaca's Broker API. Your prospects will include fintech platforms, broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, wealth platforms, and other financial institutions, with a primary focus on Asia-based clients. You'll need excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time. You'll be joining a 100% distributed and remote team, with a preference for candidates located in Asia-Pacific financial centers.
Requirements
- Track record of success in quota achievement and closing fintechs, registered investment advisers, and Broker Dealers, wealth platforms, or financial institutions
- Strategic, persistent with an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to be part of a hyper-growth start-up environment
Responsibilities
- Develop pipeline through prospecting, meetings, conferences/events, calls, and email
- Close net new business to drive revenue growth for Alpaca's B2B business across Asia-Pacific
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities and nurture potential customer accounts to develop relationships
- Gain a deep understanding of product offerings to communicate value proposition to prospects
- Listen to and interpret customer requirements and present solutions that apply to customer needs
- Create and deliver sales presentations
- Measure the outcomes of different messaging and contact approaches and adapt to improve results
- Provide sales analysis, insight, accurate and timely data within the Sales CRM system, and accurate forecasting
- Communicate cross-functionally with Integration, Marketing, and Success teams
