About the Role

You will serve as a customer-facing technical expert for autonomy solutions. You will translate mission needs and integration constraints into feasible concepts, support demonstrations and proposals, create technical sales assets, communicate product capabilities and limitations, and provide field feedback to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, field applications engineering, systems engineering, technical sales, autonomy, robotics, defense software, aerospace, or related customer-facing roles
  • Technical understanding of autonomy, AI-enabled systems, mission software, unmanned systems, robotics, or defense technology systems
  • Experience supporting customer-facing technical engagements
  • Ability to translate mission needs into feasible solution concepts, requirements, demonstrations, and product feedback
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to manage competing demands and execute independently
  • Willingness and ability to travel

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a customer-facing technical expert for autonomy solutions
  • Support customer discovery, briefings, demonstrations, technical interchange meetings, and capture activities
  • Translate mission needs, CONOPs, objectives, and integration constraints into solution concepts
  • Support RFIs, RFPs, proposals, white papers, demonstrations, and technical narratives
  • Explain autonomy capabilities, limitations, roadmap considerations, and integration requirements
  • Develop technical sales assets and customer briefing materials
  • Represent customer requirements, technical risks, roadmap gaps, and field feedback
  • Help customers evaluate autonomy for operational effectiveness and mission outcomes
  • Ensure customer-facing materials accurately reflect capabilities and constraints
  • Monitor developments in autonomy, AI, unmanned systems, mission software, and defense technology
  • Build relationships with customer stakeholders and cross-functional partners
  • Operate independently across customer engagements
