About the Role
You will manage and grow relationships with merchants and partners across industries. You will negotiate commercial terms, coordinate merchant onboarding and integrations, resolve queries and escalations, monitor portfolio performance, identify upselling opportunities, and stay current on payments and fintech trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience in sales, business development, or account management within fintech, payments, or financial services
- 3–5 years of experience in key account management or business development
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Ability to analyze data and identify actionable insights for account growth
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain merchant relationships to drive transaction volume, retention, and satisfaction
- Negotiate merchant discount rates, commercial terms, and service agreements
- Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations on onboarding and integration
- Serve as the main contact for merchant queries, support requests, and escalations
- Monitor account and portfolio performance and transaction volumes
- Identify growth and upselling opportunities
- Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs in payments and fintech
