About the Role
You will build and implement sales strategies for business products, manage a team of sales representatives, and acquire and grow relationships with key organizations. You will focus on revenue and cross-selling, own plans and sales targets, document and report pipeline progress, define inbound lead requirements, build prospecting-to-expansion funnels, collaborate with Compliance, Engineering, Product and Marketing, and travel to field locations within Côte d'Ivoire as needed.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and French
- Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Previous experience in sales or business development
- 7+ years of experience in sales, especially in mobile money or financial services
- Experience working in the field force with proven segmentation and targeting
- Experience managing a sales team with sales coverage models and quota setting
- Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills
- Experience using a CRM
Responsibilities
- Bring on and manage relationships with key organizations for business products including APIs, bulk payment, cash collection, and merchant payments
- Manage a team of sales representatives to grow the portfolio of organizations using business products
- Focus on revenue and cross-sell products to clients and personally acquire businesses
- Own plans and strategies for acquiring businesses and achieving sales targets
- Document and share progress on the sales pipeline to support planning, forecasting, and budgeting
- Establish inbound lead requirements to meet sales objectives
- Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers externally and internally
- Build processes and funnels for prospecting, negotiation, onboarding, activation, and expansion
- Collaborate with Compliance, Engineering, Product, and Marketing
- Travel to field locations within Côte d'Ivoire as needed
