About the Role

You'll join Carta's Fund Administration and Private Equity Sales team in Hong Kong, working closely with the GTM lead on marketing projects, territory research, prospect targeting, reporting, and event strategy. You'll receive training on Carta's software, private market finance, and equity administration, along with ongoing coaching in consultative sales, client management, negotiation, and sales operations. You'll identify ideal customer profiles and prospect via email, phone, and LinkedIn to build pipeline, while nurturing relationships with law firms, tax consultancies, audit firms, and other ecosystem players. You'll network in person across Hong Kong's financial and tech community, run outreach campaigns targeting CFOs and GPs at VC and PE firms, and match prospect pain points to the right value propositions. You'll collaborate with Sales and Marketing to plan and execute events, drive attendance, and keep your lead lists and CRM data clean and accurate.

Requirements

  • Native or professional fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Prior experience working within Venture Capital or Private Equity in Hong Kong
  • Highly proficient at in-person networking with senior executives
  • Ambitious driven and resilient in the face of rejection
  • Strong desire to constantly improve in a high-velocity environment
  • Ability to read emotional cues and understand customer needs
  • Experience working in a high-volume customer-facing role
  • Ability to break down and communicate complex topics
  • Authorized to work in Hong Kong without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Identify the Ideal Customer Profile and prospect via email phone and LinkedIn to drive company pipeline
  • Start nurture and maintain partner relationships with law firms tax consultancies audit firms and other ecosystem players in Hong Kong
  • Network in person within the Hong Kong financial and tech community as a brand ambassador
  • Create and manage outreach campaigns to CFOs and GPs at Venture Capital and Private Equity firms
  • Match prospect pain points to specific value propositions across buyer personas
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to execute high-impact sales events
  • Drive attendance and invites to in-person and virtual sales events
  • Work with the Fund Sales team to build a healthy sales pipeline
  • Respond quickly and triage leads based on channel and need
  • Build and manage lead lists and ensure data integrity across systems like Salesforce Outreach and Marketo
