About the Role
You will support procurement contracting for hardware, software, networking components, services, and operational spending. You will negotiate agreements, advise business stakeholders, resolve supplier issues, and improve templates, workflows, and contract-management processes.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited US law school and active membership in good standing of at least one US state bar.
- 5–8 years of legal experience focused on commercial and procurement contracts.
- Experience negotiating software, hardware, networking-component, and technology-services agreements.
- Understanding of licensing, SaaS, data protection, warranties, indemnities, and liability limitations.
- Ability to independently manage a high volume of matters.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate procurement agreements.
- Support strategic supply agreements and own assigned workstreams.
- Negotiate pricing, payment, delivery, warranties, service levels, data protection, IP, indemnities, and liability terms.
- Review supplier terms for data protection, security, export controls, sanctions, and anti-corruption requirements.
- Advise procurement, cloud, infrastructure, and finance stakeholders.
- Triage requests, prioritize work, and escalate material issues.
- Help resolve supplier delivery, warranty, and contract-interpretation issues.
- Develop templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and FAQs.
- Supervise and support the Procurement Paralegal.
- Partner on contract lifecycle management and reporting.
- Train business teams on contracting processes and risk areas.
