About the Role
You will own commercial contracting, privacy, security, compliance, and related business matters. You will guide agreements from intake through negotiation, execution, and management; build templates and playbooks; advise stakeholders; and support supply-chain and manufacturing transactions.
Requirements
- JD and active state bar membership
- 5+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Experience with complex commercial agreements and the full contract lifecycle
- Experience with supply-chain and manufacturing agreements
- Experience advising on global data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfers
- Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and APPI
- Technology, semiconductor, hardware, chip manufacturing, or supplier experience preferred
- Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology
Responsibilities
- Own commercial contracting, data privacy, security, compliance, and business matters
- Guide contracts through intake, drafting, negotiation, execution, and ongoing management
- Lead negotiations for high-value strategic transactions
- Create templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and CLM workflows
- Draft and negotiate supply-chain and manufacturing agreements
- Advise on data protection, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfers
- Provide practical legal advice to cross-functional stakeholders
