About the Role
You will draft and negotiate customer, API, serverless, renewal, expansion, and partner agreements. You will advise sales and deal teams, negotiate AI-specific terms, handle privacy and security issues, support contract tooling, and improve templates, playbooks, and approval processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial legal experience, including in-house experience at a SaaS, cloud, API, or AI company
- Experience negotiating high volumes of enterprise customer contracts
- Knowledge of usage-based and consumption pricing models, SLAs, and data protection
- Active bar membership in good standing
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate enterprise customer agreements, order forms, API, serverless, renewal, and expansion agreements
- Own legal partnerships with sales, account management, and deal desk
- Negotiate AI-specific intellectual property, data use, and content terms
- Handle data processing, security, and privacy questions in customer deals
- Support model partner and marketplace terms
- Support infrastructure and vendor agreements as needed
- Improve contract templates, playbooks, approval processes, tooling, and intake
