About the Role

You will lead drafting, review, and negotiation of enterprise customer agreements. You will advise commercial stakeholders on AI, data-protection, security, and regulatory matters; maintain negotiation playbooks and contract templates; work with cross-functional partners on legal risk; and represent Legal on customer negotiations.

Requirements

• JD and active U.S. state bar membership in good standing
• 7+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience with a substantial in-house component
• Experience independently owning complex enterprise SaaS or API vendor-side deals
• Experience with regulated-industry customers
• Experience with commercial terms and pricing structures for SaaS or API businesses
• Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DORA, EU AI Act, and DPAs
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent deals under tight timelines
• Experience building legal playbooks, templates, precedent repositories, or self-service tools

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of enterprise customer agreements
• Advise commercial stakeholders on practical, business-aligned legal matters
• Maintain negotiation playbooks, privacy architecture, term libraries, and fallback positions
• Advise on AI-specific contract terms, data practices, output ownership, liability, and agentic-feature risk
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Privacy, Finance, and Compliance to address legal risk
• Monitor AI, data-protection, and public-sector procurement regulations and update contractual guidance
• Represent Legal on customer negotiation calls
