About the Role
You will draft and negotiate commercial contracts, advise on legal and regulatory matters, and develop tools and templates that scale legal operations. You will manage outside counsel, support cross-functional projects, maintain compliance with AI-related laws, and provide legal guidance from project development through launch.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school
- Membership in good standing of a US state bar
- At least 5 years of law firm or in-house experience
- Project management experience
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Experience managing technology implementation or solutions projects
- Knowledge of AI tools and AI technologies
- Understanding of privacy, data protection, competition, consumer protection, payments, and intellectual property law
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate customer and partnership agreements
- Collaborate with technical, business, and legal stakeholders
- Develop and automate legal workflows and approval processes
- Create company policies, training materials, guides, and legal templates
- Provide legal, regulatory, and strategic advice throughout project development and launch
- Manage outside counsel
- Ensure compliance with US and international AI-related laws and regulations
- Build relationships with internal teams and external partners
