About the Role

You will lead, coach, and develop a London new-business sales team while managing a personal quota and strategic opportunities. You will drive CRM discipline, forecast pipeline, improve sales performance, support go-to-market activity, collaborate on opportunity conversion, recruit sales talent, and contribute regional plans.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience managing a direct or outbound sales team
  • Track record of coaching, developing, and training high-performing salespeople
  • 6+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience managing complex, high-value enterprise deals and long sales cycles
  • Payments or fintech knowledge
  • CRM, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance reporting skills
  • Ability to engage finance leaders and senior decision-makers
  • Business acumen
  • Experience using modern sales tools and CRM systems
  • Right to work in the jurisdiction where the candidate seeks to work

Responsibilities

  • Manage the London sales team through structured one-to-ones, pipeline reviews, and team standups
  • Identify capability gaps and build development plans for salespeople
  • Onboard Senior BDMs and BDMs through training, field shadowing, and early deal involvement
  • Create a sales culture of excellence and accountability
  • Partner with Revenue Enablement to deliver training programs
  • Manage a personal quota and pipeline of strategic and enterprise prospects
  • Lead complex multi-stakeholder commercial engagements
  • Model discovery-led qualification, value-based proposals, and structured pipeline management
  • Forecast personal pipeline and provide team pipeline visibility
  • Drive CRM discipline and accurate pipeline data
  • Track and analyse sales metrics to identify coaching opportunities
  • Support outbound campaigns and go-to-market initiatives
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Compliance, Product, and Client Onboarding on opportunity conversion
  • Contribute pipeline analysis and regional plans to quarterly business reviews
  • Recruit sales talent and lead the interview process
