About Doppler
Doppler is a liquidity bootstrapping ecosystem and capital markets protocol that helps teams create tokenized markets, let prices form through onchain price discovery, and graduate liquidity into deep, established pools. It introduces a 'dutch-auction dynamic bonding curve' primitive to source initial two-sided liquidity while protecting users from sniping bots and MEV through auction mechanics. The protocol supports memecoins, RWAs, and protocol tokens, offering capital-efficient bonding curves, seamless migration to Uniswap v2/v4, integration with OpenZeppelin Governor treasuries for governance, and composable, programmable smart contracts for vesting, airdrops, and incentives. About the Role
Whetstone Research is seeking its first BD and Growth hire to own institutional growth for Doppler. The role connects institutional buyers with protocol teams, translates market needs into product and integration feedback, identifies high-potential institutional segments, and initially operates as a player-coach before building a team.
Requirements
- Warm relationships within major-bank digital asset desks, crypto-native institutional players, TradFi tokenization teams, or infrastructure companies
- Understanding of Doppler’s protocol design and its relevance to tokenized bonds and coin launches
- Ability to discuss settlement risk credibly with institutional decision-makers and MEV with protocol teams
- Experience building an institutional book from zero at a crypto-native company or leading a digital-assets initiative within a TradFi institution
- Comfort operating as a player-coach for the first six months
Responsibilities
- Lead institutional growth for Doppler across sales, business development, and strategic relationships
- Build Whetstone’s institutional presence across funds, asset managers, banks, fintechs, and corporates
- Translate institutional buyer needs for protocol teams
- Feed product, integration, and regulatory signals back to the team
- Identify which institutional segments are progressing and where to focus
- Run meetings, write memos, and close deals during the first six months
- Build the team after establishing the institutional book
