About the Role

You will lead the global Solutions Engineering function across pre-sales and post-sales work. You will build and scale the organization, define its operating model, hire and develop leaders, and own technical outcomes in complex enterprise evaluations. You will help customers adopt advanced use cases after deployment, create reusable technical playbooks and architectures, and strengthen technical positioning across AI, integrations, security, governance, and agent architecture.

Requirements

  • Experience building, scaling, or transforming a customer-facing technical function
  • Experience recruiting, retaining, and developing customer-facing technical talent across multiple regions, segments, or customer motions
  • Experience owning measurable GTM outcomes and winning complex enterprise opportunities
  • Knowledge of pre-sales technical execution and post-sales Solutions Engineering
  • Technical credibility in enterprise architecture, integrations, security, governance, and AI systems
  • Ability to advise on AI agents, model selection, prompting, context management, tool use, retrieval, evaluations, reliability, latency, and cost
  • Knowledge of APIs, authentication, data connectors, enterprise systems, and cloud architectures
  • Ability to identify integration, security, data governance, and scalability risks

Responsibilities

  • Define the global vision, strategy, and operating model for Solutions Engineering
  • Lead pre-sales and post-sales Solutions Engineering
  • Design team structure, leadership models, roles, career paths, coverage, operating standards, and performance systems
  • Scale the team across Paris, New York, San Francisco, and London
  • Hire, develop, and manage Solutions Engineers and future SE leaders
  • Allocate Solutions Engineering resources based on opportunity complexity, customer impact, strategic importance, and likelihood of success
  • Define and execute complex enterprise technical evaluations
  • Partner with Sales to improve technical win rate, evaluation conversion, pipeline coverage, and evaluation velocity
  • Develop technical strategies for key enterprise opportunities
  • Improve discovery, demonstrations, solution design, pilots, architecture reviews, security validation, and technical handoffs
  • Build post-sales motions for advanced customer use cases
  • Partner with Customer Success on workshops, integrations, architectures, and expansion
  • Create reusable playbooks, reference architectures, technical assets, and AI-native workflows
  • Provide Product and Engineering with input from recurring customer needs
  • Strengthen technical positioning across enterprise AI, integrations, security, governance, and agent architecture
  • Advise customers on valuable AI-agent use cases
  • Coach Solutions Engineers through complex AI, architecture, and customer decisions
