About the Role
You will lead a regional Forward Deployed Engineering function serving strategic enterprise accounts. You will qualify and scope engagements, oversee delivery quality, manage executive customer relationships, coach and hire engineers, and build a partner program for consulting and systems-integration partners.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience leading technical teams that ship production systems
- Experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a similar technical function
- Python
- JavaScript
- TypeScript
- Experience building and owning production AI-native workflows
- Experience debugging real-world model failures
- Ability to diagnose enterprise engineering environments and scope engagements
- Experience building and scaling individual-contributor technical teams
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, architecture reviews, and engagement scoping
- Build and present customer proposals with defined ROI
- Drive deal strategy and executive stakeholder engagement
- Serve as executive technical sponsor for priority engagements
- Ensure delivery quality, milestones, technical standards, and customer handoffs
- Escalate product gaps and integration friction to Product and Engineering
- Coach Forward Deployed Engineers and intervene on high-stakes accounts
- Build reusable playbooks
- Lead, develop, and scale a team of Forward Deployed Engineers
- Hire and set technical performance expectations for Forward Deployed Engineers
- Train and enable GSI and consulting partners
