About the Role
You will lead a software engineering team, set its technical direction, and guide architecture for scalable systems. You will partner with product, design, and data science on roadmaps, manage delivery from ideation through launch, develop engineers, and maintain high standards for code quality and testing.
Requirements
- 5–7 years managing a software engineering team
- Strong technical foundation in code review and architecture
- Experience translating ambiguous problems into plans and shipped features
- Experience hiring, developing, and retaining engineers
- Experience building and operating production systems at scale
- Experience working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
- Knowledge of AI and agentic coding workflows
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Own technical direction and architecture decisions for scalable systems
- Build, coach, and grow a team of engineers
- Partner with product management, design, and data science on roadmaps and project scope
- Manage the development lifecycle from ideation through launch
- Remove blockers and manage delivery tradeoffs
- Champion code quality, testing, rapid iteration, and maintainability
