About the Role
You will own and expand a named portfolio of federal agencies, focusing on net-new revenue and strategic growth. You will develop and close complex opportunities across agencies including the Department of Energy and Department of Justice, manage forecasting in Salesforce, and lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and close. You will work with partners and internal stakeholders to tailor solutions to agency requirements and bring proven Defense and Intelligence use cases into new agencies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of cybersecurity sales experience focused on Defense and Intelligence or Federal Civilian agencies
- Previous relationships with Energy and Justice agencies
- Proven record of closing complex, high-value deals with multi-stakeholder buying cycles
- Experience navigating federal procurement processes, contract vehicles, and acquisition timelines
- Experience with Attack Surface Management, Vulnerability Management, or Cyber Threat Intelligence
- Existing relationships with government CISOs, agency security leaders, or program managers
- Experience selling to federal civilian agencies, the Department of Defense, or intelligence community organizations
- Familiarity with vulnerability feeds, CVE scoring systems, or exploit intelligence
- Experience working in hybrid or distributed teams
- Salesforce or comparable CRM experience
- Consultative, technically literate solution-selling approach
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a named set of federal agencies
- Drive new business by qualifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities
- Maintain a strategic pipeline and accurate forecasts in Salesforce
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and close
- Collaborate with channel partners, resellers, and contract vehicles
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing to tailor solutions
- Carry Defense and Intelligence use cases into net-new agencies
