About the Role

You will build a greenfield territory and own the full sales cycle for Japan’s digital-native companies. You will generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, run consultative sales cycles with technical leaders, close new accounts, and coordinate internal specialists during technical evaluations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of sales experience in Japan
• Experience consistently winning net-new logos and generating pipeline through outbound prospecting
• Experience selling to digital-native, internet, or high-growth technology companies
• Experience engaging engineering and product leaders
• Experience opening greenfield territories or market segments
• Experience exceeding revenue targets through new business
• Knowledge of usage-based and consumption models
• Strategic territory and account prioritization skills
• Interest in or experience with advanced AI systems
• Excellent Japanese and English communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience

Responsibilities

• Win net-new logos across Japan’s digital-native companies
• Build a greenfield territory, account list, pipeline, and repeatable account-acquisition plays
• Generate pipeline through self-sourced outbound prospecting
• Run consultative sales cycles with founders, CTOs, CPOs, engineering leaders, and AI leaders
• Position Claude for AI-powered products and competitive differentiation
• Land new accounts and prepare them for expansion
• Coordinate Product, Engineering, Applied AI, and Partnerships teams for technical evaluations and production deployment
