About the Role

You will lead legal support for technology procurement and strategic sourcing. You will negotiate high-value hardware, software, OEM, reseller, and supply agreements; advise on supply-chain risks; manage disputes; and build scalable procurement legal processes.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited US law school and active membership in good standing of at least one US state bar.
  • 8–12 years of legal experience with significant focus on technology procurement and supply agreements.
  • Experience negotiating hardware, software, and networking-component agreements.
  • Knowledge of hardware supply-chain dynamics.
  • Familiarity with export controls, sanctions, and trade compliance for advanced computing.
  • Experience leading or mentoring legal and non-legal professionals.
  • Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead drafting and negotiation of complex hardware procurement agreements.
  • Negotiate commercial and risk terms for supply agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate software, firmware, SaaS, support, and services agreements.
  • Advise on export controls, sanctions, customs, tariffs, and sourcing restrictions.
  • Advise stakeholders on supplier disputes, shortages, and contract-performance issues.
  • Coordinate supply commitments with customer, delivery, and financing obligations.
  • Manage supplier disputes and claims.
  • Lead and mentor procurement counsel and paralegals.
  • Develop procurement templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and approval matrices.
  • Partner on contract lifecycle management, reporting, and process improvement.
