About the Role
You will be the face and voice of Via for partners in France and Benelux, building genuine relationships with cities and operators. You'll own your deals end-to-end, from closing new partnerships to driving renewals, expansions, and growth, with real autonomy and direct impact on how Via grows in your markets.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or strategy
- Track record of winning and growing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Quantitatively inclined and data savvy
- Strong storytelling skills
- Entrepreneurial relationship builder comfortable with politically sensitive situations
- Curious, resourceful, and comfortable in ambiguity
- Native or near-native Dutch; professional English required; French is a plus
Responsibilities
- Build and close partnerships with city governments, transport authorities, and private operators, navigating complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Own the full account lifecycle post-signature: renewals, upsell, cross-sell, and year-over-year service expansion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for executive city and agency leadership, translating partner needs into commercial opportunities
- Analyse service performance data on an ongoing basis to drive strategic decisions
- Create compelling, data-driven business cases that demonstrate ridership, efficiency, and sustainability improvements
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with senior stakeholders in politically sensitive situations
- Represent Via externally through conferences, industry events, and thought leadership, and feed market intelligence back to product and strategy teams
