About the Role

You will generate and develop enterprise business opportunities across acquiring, alternative payment methods, and complex payment flows. You will own multi-market sales deals from origination through closing, advise merchants on payment strategies, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and build long-term relationships with merchants and partners.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in business development, sales, or related commercial roles
  • At least 3 years of experience in online payments or fintech
  • Experience selling card acquiring and alternative payment methods to merchants
  • Understanding of target verticals, market trends, key players, and competitive landscapes
  • Knowledge of payment products, processes, client pain points, and end-to-end payment flows
  • Professional network within the payments or fintech ecosystem
  • Ability to independently identify, develop, and close new business opportunities
  • Experience managing complex B2B deals with sales cycles of two months or more
  • Ability to work with multiple client-side stakeholders
  • Experience working against KPIs aligned with market-entry and growth objectives

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business by identifying, engaging, and winning enterprise merchants
  • Build a pipeline of enterprise-level opportunities
  • Advise enterprise merchants on payment challenges and expansion ambitions
  • Engage senior stakeholders on acceptance strategy, local payment methods, cross-border optimisation, and scalability
  • Own the full sales cycle for complex multi-market enterprise deals
  • Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, and Operations on merchant solutions
  • Build credibility with enterprise merchants and partners
  • Identify payment trends and commercial opportunities
  • Develop long-term relationships with enterprise merchants and ecosystem partners
  • Maintain knowledge of the product suite, operating model, and value proposition
