About the Role
You will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with leading companies across crypto and fintech. As a senior, externally facing member of the team, you'll bring your strong network across exchanges, ecosystems, protocols, projects, VCs, infrastructure providers, and fintech companies to grow CryptoSlate's commercial revenue. You'll build tailored proposals, negotiate deals, and manage relationships from first conversation through delivery, while coordinating with editorial, marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure campaigns are delivered professionally and on time. You'll also use AI tools to support account research, prospect mapping, proposal drafting, and pipeline analysis, increasing your output quality and speed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of business development, partnerships, sales, or revenue experience in crypto, fintech, digital assets, or a closely related field
- Proven track record closing commercial deals and managing senior-level relationships
- Strong understanding of crypto market participants, business models, narratives, and trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to operate independently and proactively without heavy oversight
- Comfort attending crypto, fintech, Web3, blockchain, and digital asset industry events
Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and close advertisers, sponsors, partners, and strategic accounts
- Drive revenue across sponsored content, advertising campaigns, newsletter placements, research partnerships, podcast sponsorships, directory products, data products, and custom media packages
- Develop tailored proposals for exchanges, projects, ecosystems, protocols, VCs, infrastructure companies, and fintech firms
- Negotiate pricing, campaign terms, renewals, and long-term partnership structures
- Work with leadership to refine commercial strategy, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market approach
- Coordinate with editorial, marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver campaigns on time
- Use AI to support account research, prospect mapping, partner briefs, CRM hygiene, proposal drafting, market monitoring, pipeline analysis, follow-up, and forecasting
