About the Role

You will source and attend B2B events, pitch Tide’s platform to business owners, guide prospects through on-site signup, and follow up on leads in the CRM. You will co-host internal and online events, build partnerships, maintain pipeline and ROI data, capture event recaps, and travel across the United Kingdom to support regional events.

Requirements

  • Proven face-to-face B2B or field sales experience.
  • Background in event coordination, experiential marketing, or financial products.
  • Experience with cold face-to-face outreach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to pitch, negotiate, and present to groups.
  • Strong time management, organization, and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, Pipedrive, Looker, and Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
  • Full United Kingdom driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure attendance at high-potential external B2B events, expos, and networking sessions across the United Kingdom.
  • Approach business owners at trade shows and exhibitions, pitch the platform and accounting tools, and close sales.
  • Guide prospects through the on-site signup process in collaboration with KYC and FinCrime teams.
  • Follow up on event-generated leads using CRM tools to improve conversion rates and paid plan adoption.
  • Co-host internal events at Tide HQ, including Accountant Society sessions and partner events.
  • Launch and host educational online events.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage growth partnerships with event organizers, business hubs, and SME networks.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Affiliates, and Product teams to align event content with campaigns, features, and Making Tax Digital updates.
  • Represent Tide at regional events across the United Kingdom, including Manchester and Birmingham.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking in Pipedrive and update the Live Event Looker Dashboard.
  • Capture event data and photography to create post-event recaps.
  • Work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet event schedules.
