Working Student & Intern: Sales & Partnerships
GreenTrade is a Berlin-based carbon credit marketplace and forward-financing platform that connects project developers with companies seeking to decarbonize and meet net-zero commitments. It curates high-integrity nature- and technology-based carbon removal and avoidance projects (forestry, soil carbon, blue carbon, biochar, direct air capture, enhanced rock weathering, carbon capture & storage, cook stoves, and afforestation/reforestation) validated by leading carbon market certifiers. Its clients are primarily businesses looking to offset emissions via pre-purchase and offtake agreements, as well as project developers seeking upfront financing.
About GreenTrade
GreenTrade builds infrastructure for the forward financing of nature- and technology-based carbon credits. The platform offers businesses early access to carbon offset projects and cost savings through pre-purchase and offtake agreements, while enabling project developers to secure upfront financing to accelerate development of new carbon projects. GreenTrade's marketplace (currently in beta) is curated to feature only projects with the highest integrity, validated by leading carbon market certifiers and supported by science-based measurements, spanning over 10 project types and 40+ carbon projects, including forestry & conservation, improved forest management, soil carbon, blue carbon, biochar, direct air capture, enhanced rock weathering, carbon capture & storage, cook stoves, and afforestation & reforestation. The company states its mission is to mitigate climate change by reducing 100 million tonnes of carbon by 2030. It serves both carbon project developers (suppliers) and companies seeking to decarbonize (buyers), and is involved with the International Soil Carbon Industry Alliance (ISCIA). GreenTrade is based in Berlin, Germany, and lists f6s and Crunchbase profiles for investors.
