About the Role
You will lead business development and licensing for clinical and preclinical molecules. You will identify partners and acquisition opportunities, conduct due diligence, negotiate and execute transactions, consolidate industry feedback, and represent the platform and acquisition strategy to senior leaders.
Requirements
- BS or BA in life sciences
- 12-15+ years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience focused on oncology and immunology and inflammation
- 7+ years of business development and licensing experience
- Network of senior biotechnology and pharmaceutical relationships
- Knowledge of drug development from early discovery through commercialization
- Experience leading complex negotiations and closing transactions
- Project management
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Interest in AI-enabled drug discovery
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with senior business development and licensing counterparts
- Identify development and commercialization partners for clinical and preclinical assets
- Identify, prioritize, and diligence in-licensing and asset acquisition opportunities
- Structure, negotiate, and execute licensing, acquisition, co-development, co-commercialization, and spin-out agreements
- Consolidate industry feedback and advise internal teams on data-package deliverables
- Represent the platform and acquisition strategy to senior scientific and business leaders
