About the Role
You lead distribution activities across your region to grow and retain the user base. You manage field teams, remove blockers to user growth, develop acquisition and retention strategies, hire and train distribution staff, use data to monitor performance, and align with agency teams.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Krio, plus any additional local language
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or team management
- 4+ years of experience managing field teams or field-based user acquisition teams
- 2+ years of experience designing user acquisition strategies for telecom, payment service provider, FMCG, or financial institution products
- 2+ years of experience managing large teams of 50+ people
Responsibilities
- Manage supervisors and team leads overseeing field-based distributors
- Identify and resolve blockers to user growth and active product usage
- Develop strategies to retain newly acquired users
- Hire, train, and manage distribution team members
- Build systems to scale distribution
- Create the regional distribution roadmap and achieve quarterly objectives
- Use data to inform distribution strategies and monitor team performance
- Align distribution objectives with the agency team
- Share team insights to help develop distribution strategy
- Lead the team according to Wave’s values
