About the Role
You will act as a technical advisor throughout sales opportunities. You will demonstrate the platform, explain its architecture in the customer environment, and scope and execute sponsored pilots and proof-of-value exercises. You will train customers and partners, present at industry events, and work with product managers and engineers to investigate issues and raise feature requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of enterprise software pre-sales experience
- Experience with value-based discovery frameworks
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical audiences
- Virtual and in-person presentation skills
- Familiarity with GCP, AWS, and Azure
- Familiarity with identity services, SSO, Azure/Entra ID, Okta, SAML, SCIM, and OIDC
- Familiarity with APIs and API troubleshooting
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS, DLP, WAFs, and proxies
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the platform to prospective customers
- Explain the platform architecture in the context of customer environments
- Scope and execute sponsored pilots and proof-of-value exercises
- Educate and train customers and partners
- Present at company-sponsored events
- Liaise with product managers and engineers to investigate issues, raise feature requests, and understand the roadmap
