About the Role
You will manage relationships with technology partners and advisor firms, advise firms on custody transitions, run demonstrations, and provide current partner materials to sales teams. You will host events, negotiate commercial terms, coordinate agreement approvals, and bring partner insight into integration roadmap discussions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of partnerships, business development, or strategic account management experience
- Experience in wealthtech, fintech, or RIA custodial and technology services
- Experience managing external technology-vendor or advisor-firm relationships in regulated financial services
- Executive-level relationship management, event hosting, and negotiation experience
- Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and technical integrations teams
- Familiarity with RIA custodial technology, portfolio management systems, CRM, TAMP, or financial planning tools
Responsibilities
- Advise enterprise RIAs and breakaway teams on custody transitions and platform fit
- Run Transition Sandbox walkthroughs for prospective and transitioning firms
- Manage advisor-firm and technology-partner relationships
- Build and maintain partner resources and integration collateral
- Equip Practice Management and Sales with partner information
- Run Center of Influence engagement programs and the COI Advisory Council
- Plan partner events, VIP dinners, and executive roundtables
- Negotiate commercial terms with strategic partners
- Coordinate non-standard agreement approvals with Legal, Compliance, and Finance
- Bring partner and client requests into integration roadmap discussions
