About the Role
You will lead client and prospect engagement for complex inquiries and high-priority initiatives. You will tailor reports, RFP responses, presentations, competitive analyses, and background materials for client meetings. You will maintain accurate Salesforce records, manage incoming requests, coordinate with internal partners, contribute to sales and marketing initiatives, maintain product expertise, and mentor junior associates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Finance, Accounting, or Business background preferred
- Progress toward an MBA, CFA, or advanced degree preferred
- 5–7 years of experience in asset management or a comparable industry
- SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 licenses, required or obtainable within 90 days of start date
- Deep understanding of the investment business, intermediary distribution landscape, and firm products and services
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage high-profile projects under tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Lead client and prospect engagement and address complex inquiries
- Customize and produce reports for client and prospect audiences
- Own and tailor RFP responses and custom presentation materials
- Develop competitive analysis and background information for client and prospect meetings
- Maintain accurate client and prospect data in Salesforce
- Manage and prioritize incoming client and prospect information requests
- Coordinate with investment professionals, portfolio specialists, marketing, and other internal groups
- Contribute input to marketing campaigns and sales strategy
- Maintain expertise in products, services, investment objectives, fee schedules, and competitive positioning
- Mentor junior associates on transactions, inquiries, and workflows
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested
