About the Role

You will lead and scale a regulatory compliance advisory capability for MEA and APAC. You will build and maintain relationships with regulators, law enforcement and financial authorities, represent the organisation in industry groups, and monitor regulatory developments. You will translate regulatory change into actionable guidance, own a portfolio of strategic clients, drive retention and expansion, support sales with regulatory expertise, contribute to RFPs and proposals, and design and deliver training and advisory engagements for government and institutional clients. You will work remotely and travel regionally and occasionally internationally as required.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in crypto or blockchain compliance, FinTech, SaaS, or RegTech
  • Strong expertise in AML, compliance, and financial services regulation
  • Proven experience engaging with regulators and public sector stakeholders across MEA and APAC
  • Proven ability to own client relationships and drive commercial outcomes including quota responsibility
  • Experience delivering advisory services and leading complex client engagements
  • Strong understanding of financial institutions including exchanges, fintechs, banks, payment providers, or institutional crypto firms
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive level communication skills
  • Strong public speaking and training delivery capabilities
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands on in execution
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of a regulatory compliance advisory arm for MEA and APAC markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulators, law enforcement agencies, and financial authorities across MEA and APAC
  • Represent the organisation in industry associations, working groups, and public sector initiatives
  • Monitor and analyse regulatory developments related to digital assets and financial services
  • Translate regulatory changes into actionable insights for internal teams and clients
  • Act as regional regulatory ambassador to strengthen public and private sector positioning
  • Own and develop a portfolio of strategic clients across MEA and APAC
  • Drive client retention, satisfaction, and long term relationship growth
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross sell opportunities across existing accounts
  • Deliver against a quota focused on account expansion revenue
  • Advise clients on regulatory and compliance matters and support deal progression
  • Contribute to RFPs, regulatory questionnaires, and commercial proposals
  • Lead and deliver advisory engagements on crypto regulatory frameworks
  • Design and deliver training programs for government and institutional clients
  • Conduct regulatory and market research to support strategy and client engagement
  • Represent the organisation at events, webinars, and industry forums
