About the Role
You will source and qualify high-potential B2B opportunities across Africa or Europe, build and maintain a strong pipeline, and engage prospects through outbound and inbound channels. You will lead negotiations, scope commercial agreements, and close deals. You will coordinate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to support integrations and successful go-lives. You will maintain CRM and documentation to support repeatable BD motions, track market and regulatory developments, and represent the company at regional fintech and crypto events.
Requirements
- 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales in Web3, DeFi, fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure
- Proven success sourcing, negotiating, and closing B2B or institutional deals
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, stablecoins, wallets, exchanges, or crypto payment flows
- Experience selling into or operating within Europe or Africa and knowledge of local fintech/payment ecosystems
- Structured approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity assessment
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive)
- Based in Africa or Europe and fluent in English
- Additional regional languages are a plus
- Existing network across crypto, fintech, or payments is nice to have
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain regional market and payment rail knowledge
- Build and maintain a high-quality B2B pipeline
- Drive outbound engagement through events, communities, and outreach
- Evaluate opportunities for strategic fit and commercial potential
- Lead customer lifecycle from engagement through scoping and close
- Negotiate and contract commercial agreements
- Partner with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering for integrations
- Maintain CRM, documentation, and operational foundations
- Shape regional B2B strategy and identify high-value segments
- Track market, competitive, and regulatory developments
- Represent the company at regional fintech, crypto, and payments events
- Act as an external ambassador and support partner storytelling
