About the Role

You will help expand the Cari Network through the U.S. banking ecosystem, managing a robust pipeline of prospective banking partners and guiding them through evaluating, joining, and integrating into the Network. As an individual contributor on the founding commercial team, you'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the founding team to build strategic relationships that lead to partnership agreements and integration commitments from qualified bank clients.

Requirements

  • U.S.-based with an ability to travel up to 75%
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7-10 years of successful, quota-carrying experience in direct sales roles at a financial services, financial technology, or similar organization
  • Proven experience selling directly to senior bank executives (e.g., SVP, EVP, C-level)
  • Strong working knowledge base in bank payments, preferably with experience or understanding of the shift toward digital assets
  • Experience with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency is a significant plus
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities from qualification to closure
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts with senior bank executives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers and key stakeholders at target financial institutions
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the Cari Network and communicate its value proposition to potential clients
  • Provide market feedback and insights to product and engineering teams
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and detailed reports on pipeline status
