About the Role

You will lead the procurement function and develop company-wide sourcing, supplier-management, and purchasing strategies. You will establish governance, processes, and performance measures; lead complex negotiations and competitive sourcing; manage supplier performance and risk; and improve spend visibility, commercial terms, procure-to-pay workflows, and procurement technology.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, or related commercial roles
  • Experience leading a procurement function or major procurement programs
  • Record of delivering commercial value through sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and process improvement
  • Experience negotiating complex, high-value supplier agreements
  • Knowledge of procurement governance, contracting, supplier risk, and spend management
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Financial and analytical capability to evaluate business cases, pricing models, and total cost of ownership
  • Stakeholder management, influencing, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company-wide procurement strategy
  • Establish procurement policies, operating models, governance, and approval frameworks
  • Identify cost optimization, supplier consolidation, process improvement, and risk-reduction opportunities
  • Lead and coach the procurement team
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and develop category strategies
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations
  • Establish supplier relationship management programs, performance metrics, scorecards, and improvement plans
  • Identify supplier risks and develop mitigation and alternative-sourcing strategies
  • Create visibility into third-party spend and deliver savings, cost avoidance, and working-capital improvements
  • Track procurement KPIs and communicate results to senior leadership
  • Design scalable procure-to-pay and source-to-contract processes
  • Improve requisition, approval, purchase-order, contracting, supplier-onboarding, and invoice workflows
  • Evaluate and implement procurement technologies, sourcing platforms, contract-management systems, and analytics tools
  • Advise stakeholders on sourcing strategies, supplier selection, commercial structures, and negotiations
