About the Role

You will lead multi-year sourcing, procurement, and contracting strategies for data center equipment, construction, and trade packages. You will negotiate major supplier and construction agreements, manage delivery and change-order risks, develop strategic partnerships, and set procurement standards across the construction program.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of end-to-end supply chain and strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience, or 8+ years with a Master's degree
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience owning multi-year category strategies for complex, high-spend, supply-constrained areas
  • Experience personally negotiating and closing complex contracts
  • Experience establishing adopted process, policy, or governance standards
  • 3+ years of informal or indirect team leadership and coaching senior practitioners
  • Executive communication and business-case development skills
  • Data analysis skills for risk anticipation and change-order impact modeling
  • Experience working with construction teams, contractors, engineering firms, and specialty trades
  • Experience with construction contracting, contract administration, change orders, claims, and closeout
  • Experience procuring long-lead data center or critical-facility infrastructure equipment

Responsibilities

  • Own multi-year sourcing and category strategies for data center equipment, construction, and trade packages
  • Partner with Construction, Design, and Development teams from site selection through handover
  • Procure long-lead data center infrastructure equipment and sequence awards and deliveries
  • Lead construction contracting strategy and negotiate with contractors, EPCs, design firms, and specialty trades
  • Serve as the lead negotiator for high-value construction and equipment agreements
  • Own owner-furnished equipment strategy and manage logistics, storage, warranties, and installation interfaces
  • Drive change-order discipline and resolve claims and schedule impacts
  • Identify and lead long-term cost-reduction initiatives across equipment and construction categories
  • Build strategic partnerships with OEMs, contractors, and trade partners
  • Oversee delivery commitments, milestones, SLAs, supplier compliance, quality, and safety
  • Set procurement and contract-execution standards and provide executive briefings
  • Identify and mitigate schedule, cost, and safety risks with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers
  • Define and execute industry and ecosystem engagement strategy across the data center construction supply base
