About the Role
You will lead global sourcing and supplier management for DRAM, memory modules, NAND products, and SSDs. You will set commodity strategy, negotiate commercial agreements, align capacity and delivery commitments with product plans, manage supply risk and inventory exposure, and resolve allocation, delivery, and lifecycle issues.
Requirements
- Experience in strategic sourcing or commodity management for memory and storage
- Knowledge of DRAM components, memory modules, DDR memory, NAND-based storage products, and SSDs
- Knowledge of supplier ecosystems, technology roadmaps, qualification requirements, and commercial dynamics
- Experience managing relationships with global manufacturers and authorized distributors
- Experience negotiating pricing, supply agreements, and capacity commitments
- Ability to translate demand forecasts, supplier roadmaps, lead times, and market conditions into sourcing and inventory decisions
- Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology
Responsibilities
- Own the global memory and storage commodity strategy, supplier selection, sourcing plans, commercial agreements, and supplier performance
- Lead pricing and contract negotiations with manufacturers and authorized supply partners
- Align sourcing plans with product requirements and supplier technology roadmaps
- Support approved vendor lists, alternate-source qualification, and material readiness for prototype builds and production ramps
- Translate product forecasts and BOM requirements into demand plans
- Align supplier capacity, allocation, and delivery commitments with build schedules and long-term requirements
- Monitor DRAM and NAND market conditions, supplier capacity, and technology transitions to recommend sourcing actions
- Manage supply continuity, inventory exposure, and supply risk
- Resolve allocation and delivery issues, manage product changes and lifecycle events, and lead supplier business reviews and corrective actions
