About the Role
You will own the commercial legal function as an individual contributor. You will draft and negotiate buy-side and sell-side transactions, build templates and contract processes, partner with commercial stakeholders to manage deal risk, and advise on privacy matters.
Requirements
- 8+ years of commercial legal experience
- Law firm experience and in-house experience at a technology, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or AI company
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex buy-side and sell-side commercial deals
- Active US bar membership in good standing
- Ability to work in the San Francisco office five days per week
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate buy-side and sell-side commercial transactions
- Build commercial legal templates, playbooks, contract processes, and CLM
- Partner with GTM, sales, and leadership to move deals while managing risk
- Advise on privacy and related matters
